School Uniform

  1. All students must come to school neat and tidy.
  2. It is necessary for students to be in uniform if they come to school on a holiday for extra classes or any other work. On school working days and school functions, students must wear the uniform prescribed for the season. Those who are not dressed in uniform may be excluded from the class or even sent back home. However, in exceptional circumstances, a student who is unable to wear the complete uniform may be allowed to attend the school provided a request is made by the parent in the appropriate section of this school handbook.
  3. Students are not allowed to write on/disfigure each other's uniform.
  4. All the photographs to be used for school purposes or to be attested by the school should be taken in the school uniform, preferable winter uniform.
  5. Students are not allowed to wear / bring fancy ornaments / watches and use any makeup for school.
  6. Mehndi on hands, nail varnish and streaking of hair is not permitted.

School Property and Personal Belongings

  1. School property must be taken care of. Students must not scratch or spoil the furniture, write on the walls or in any way damage any of the facilities provided for their use in school. Any kind of damage to school property must be made good. Willful damage of school property will lead to dismissal.
  2. Each student is responsible for the safe custody of his/her books and belongings. It is not advisable for students to bring valuable articles or money to school.
  3. Students are strictly forbidden from bringing objectionable literature to school or purchasing any article of food from any unauthorized dealer at / near the school premises. All types of electronic gadgets, especially mobile phones are not allowed in the school premises. If found, they will be confiscated and will not be returned.
  4. Please ensure that your children bring with them their own tiffin, water bottle, stationery, books and notebooks when they come to school. Parents will not be allowed to meet/deliver these things to students during school hours. Borrowing and lending among students is discouraged.

Attendance, Regularity & General Discipline

  1. Punctuality is essential and students must report to school on time.
  2. Students who come by their own transport must be in school 10 minutes before the timing. Students who come late to school shall be sent home after two warnings and marked absent.
  3. No one may leave the school premises during school hours without obtaining permission from the Principal which will be given only in case of emergency.
  4. Attendance on the re-opening day / closing day of the academic session and when there is a school function is compulsory.
  5. Students are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both in and out of the school. Shouting, whistling, running in the corridors, throwing things, bunking classes and other forms of indiscipline are strictly forbidden, Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of home-work, disobedience and disrespect towards staff member create a negative moral influence among students and will lead to dismissal.
  6. Students are strictly forbidden from bringing fire crackers to school. Serious action, leading to dismissal, will be taken, if students are found in possession of the same.
  7. Students are not allowed to distribute leaflets, invitation cards or any sort of advertisement material without the permission of the Principal.
  8. It is compulsory for all students to bring the school handbook to school daily. This handbook is not transferable and must be maintained carefully till the end of the academic session.
  9. Students up to class V are allowed to wear a special dress on their birthday. They may share a packet of sweets with their classmates and teachers. They are not allowed to exchange gifts/flowers/organize a party in the school.

Rules regrading Leave & Absence


  1. Once the child comes to school he/she will not be allowed to leave the premises during school hours, before school gets over. Request for half day leave, short leave etc. will not be entertained. In case of emergencies parents themselves must come and collect their child from the school.
  2. If a student is unable to attend school for more than three days, the parents must inform the Principal in advance and forward a separate written application on an A4 Sheet.
  3. Absence / leave without permission, for more than six consecutive days, will be struck off from the school rolls. Re-admission, if granted, will be done after payment of a Re-admission fee.
  4. All students are expected to attend class on the last working day before the start of the vacation and the first working day after the end of the vacation. Absence for more than three days at the beginning of the term of immediately after the vacation, will result in the student's name being struck off the rolls.
  5. A student returning to school after suffering from contagious/infectious disease should produce a medical certificate declaring him/her to be fit.
  6. Leave will not be granted for absence from school one day prior to Assessments.
  7. Physical training and games are compulsory. If a child is physically unfit for systematic P.T. and games doctor's certificate should be submitted and must obtain permission from the principal.
